Is Chemical Peel painful?
Depending on the strength of the peel chosen it can feel itchy and tingly to a prickly
burning sensation. Most mild peels make your skin tingle. We always start with a mild peel.
The peel itself takes only 5 minutes.
What happens straight after a Chemical Peel?
For most mild peels the skin appears clearer and tighter but may be slightly flushed. Most
people will be able to continue their day as normal. Within 2-3 days you may notice a
light peeling, usually not too noticeable under make-up. This peeling can last up to 2-3 days
depending on strength of peel.
How long does hydrafacial treatment take?
The HydraFacial treatment is fast & efficient. It takes between 15 –
30 minutes, depending on the additional options used during treatment, e.g.,
LED light etc. Most patients can return to work and normal
activities immediately after treatment.
Does hydrafacial procedure hurt?
The treatment is usually painless and doesn’t irritate the skin. The treatment is often described as feeling like ‘a cool paintbrush moving over the face’. All patients will experience some slight tightness and redness on the skin afterwards, which may last for a couple of hours after the treatment is done.
